Edit-In-Place (or EIP)

 

This is the ability to edit data directly in a table, a bit like in a spreadsheet.

It is used in places where data validation is not complex and is usually indicated on the table itself.

 

This is the table of houses.

 

You can add or change teams using EIP.

 

After editing a cell:

 

➢  Use arrow keys to move up or down

➢ <TAB> to move across.

➢ <ENTER> will accept the data

➢ <ESC> will cancel the entry you are on.
